As the world’s leading primary producer of platinum group metals, we produce 40% of the world’s newly mined platinum. Our mining, smelting and refining operations are based in South Africa, while we’re developing a mine in Zimbabwe and have exploration projects in Brazil, Canada, Russia and China. So, to help Anglo Platinum Ltd stay in front, we need a person with an Engineering Specialist Certificate and a good understanding of mechanical and structural drawing to ensure the production of cost-effective refurbished and new equipment for the mining operations at Bathopele Mine. Is this person you? Then bring your knowledge of manufacturing (platework/machining/fitting) to the workshop, where your operational functions include ensuring that cost control is optimised and improving employee effectiveness by developing skills.

A Certificate of Fitness, computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and previous work in an underground environment are essential. You must also be completely proficient in English and possess a valid Code 08 driver’s licence. This is a legal appointment (2.6.1 - MHS Act)
