Monash South Africa is a campus of Monash University. Monash is Australia’s largest university and has eight campuses – six in Australia, one in Malaysia and one in South Africa. Located in Ruimsig, Johannesburg, Monash South Africa offers degrees in Arts, Business and Commerce and Information Technology.

Duties:

• Raise the profile and visibility of the South African campus within schools and the general community
  
• Foster good relationships with secondary schools and prospective students in South Africa and within the African Continent
  
• Provide course advice, conduct presentations and develop and organise special events
  
• Co-ordinate media campaigns internationally
  
• Attend international exhibitions and career fairs and present information on Monash South Africa
  
• Liaise with and control the Monash South Africa international agent network.
  

Qualifications and experience:

• Two years’ working experience within a marketing or sales environment
• An undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field of study
• Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, as are good organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills
• Availability to travel internationally
  
• Exposure to the education sector and sound public speaking and presentation skills
  
• Verbal competency in languages (French, Portuguese) is recommended.
