Dental Assistant

Based in Pretoria East, you will focus on assisting dentists engaged in performing general dentistry and other dental procedures during examination and case administration of treatment plans of patients. Sound dental operational practices and quality customer service, aligned with the dental operating model of the organisation, are imperative.

In order to apply, you must be registered with HPCSA as Dental Assistant, possess a Grade 12 and have completed the approved training course in Dental Assisting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Previous experience in a customer-focused service environment will be advantageous. Computer proficiency (MS Office) and professional knowledge and skills are also essential. The skills set sought encompasses communication, planning and organising and you must be energetic and confident to take the initiative. Ultimately, the person who is able to apply his/her learning, is performance-oriented and, through high work standards, can build trust, will prevail.
