Supply Chain Manager


The successful candidate will mainly manage and execute mine-specific activities associated with supply chain functions, including asset control, storage and issuing of inventory and direct purchases, transport and freight management. He/she will, inter alia, maintain and analyse monthly statistics, monitor and interpret government and regulatory agency requirements and research and procure transportation tenders and quotations. The Mine runs on a 9-week on, 4-week off roster basis.

A diploma/degree specialising in Supply Chain/Logistics and at least 7 years’ senior-level experience in supply chain management (ie supply management, materials management, logistics/distribution) in the mining environment are the minimum requirements. Candiates must have a demonstrated understanding of supply chain operations and warehouse and logistics in a large resource company and an understanding of and capability to implement Process Improvement Methodologies. Experience in the ERP system (Pronto beneficial) and the proven ability to train and develop national staff are also required.
