You will need:

• A recognised diploma or degree in Analytical Chemistry
  
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial laboratory in a managerial/superintendent role
  
• An excellent understanding of Sample Preparation and Fire Assay in a commercial mineral laboratory operation
  
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel (knowledge of Webview will be a definite asset)
• Effective multi-tasking/time management and work planning skills
  
• Solid communication skills in French for West Africa positions and English (both written and verbal) for all positions
  
• A hardworking, hands-on, strong work ethic l Self-motivation and proactivity
  
• Assertiveness and diplomacy
• A commitment to quality
• Accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Instrumentation experience, with ICP-AES, is definitely an asset.
