Xstrata SA (Pty) Ltd Alloys, Rustenburg Works, a ferro-alloy plant situated in the industrial area of Rustenburg, currently has the following opportunities for dynamic individuals to join its operation:
Plant Engineer
Maintenance Department
Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for all mechanical aspects on the plant in terms of availability and maintenance activities as well as budget control.
Requirements: A degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering and ±5 years’ experience in a heavy industry and planned maintenance are required for this position. A Government Certificate of Competency and experience in SAP will be advantageous. Good knowledge of the HSEC system and fluency in English and/or Afrikaans are essential, as are computer literacy and medical fitness. (Ref. 64235/2)
